Behind the energy of Black Roses lies exceptional leadership. Our dance floor is led by four qualified professional instructors—a true team of Country Dance pioneers in Brescia.

You can't just improvise being a cowboy, and we don't improvise our teaching: all our instructors are CSEN-certified technicians (National Educational Sports Center, recognized by CONI) and hold diplomas from AICOWED—the gold standard and ultimate benchmark for Italian Country Western Dance training, established by the legendary instructor Luana Giliberti.

Teacher Alessia Bettini

There is a precise moment—right after the "5, 6, 7, 8"—when the outside world simply vanishes. All that remains is the beat of the rhythm beneath your feet, the dust rising from the floor, and an energy running straight through your veins. My name is Alessia; I’m from Brescia and I'm the owner of the Black Roses Western Dance Academy A.S.D. It all started years ago for a simple reason: I needed some time for myself. But what was meant to be just a brief interlude turned into an instant, powerful connection. It was love at first sight. That spark changed my life, transforming a deep passion into my profession. Today, I am a 3rd-Level CSEN Instructor in Country Western Dance with national Aicowed certification—a milestone I uphold every day with absolute dedication, professionalism, consistency, and a commitment to continuous learning and improvement. At my Academy, expertise meets fun. If, through dance, I can share with you even a fraction of the freedom, joy, and strength I feel every time I pull on my boots, then I will have already achieved my greatest goal. It doesn’t matter if you’ve never taken a dance step in your life or if you think you have two left feet. In Country Line Dance, every step is a heartbeat shared with the entire group. Always remember: "Limits only exist in your mind."

Teacher Alessia Vezzola

My name is Alessia Vezzola; I am 47 years old and from Brescia. I got into country dancing because, aside from loving the music, I was always intrigued by line dancing—which allows you to dance without needing a partner—and I was fascinated by the world surrounding this discipline: a world that is so authentic and free of judgment. I met Alessia Bettini at a themed party, and it was love at first sight! I found a genuine, honest person and a true professional.

Thanks to her expertise, help, and constant encouragement, I have been dancing for 12 years; a year ago, I became a Level 1 CSEN Instructor in Country Western Dance, holding a national Aicowed certification.

I look forward to seeing you at our classes, bringing plenty of joy, a desire to have fun, and a deep passion for this discipline that has captured my heart and filled my soul!

Teacher Dalila Tonolini

My name is Dalila, and I am from Botticino, in the province of Brescia. I started country dancing in 2009 out of pure curiosity (after finding a flyer for a beginner's class at my hair salon). As my current instructor Alessia says, "You either hate country dancing or you love it—there is no middle ground," and I fell in love with it immediately. I attended classes for two years, but then life—home, marriage, and children—took me away from that world.

I returned to dancing in January 2025, and it was just like riding a bike—both in terms of the technical aspects of the dance and the passion, which reignited perhaps even more strongly than before. In fact, I wanted to deepen my knowledge of the discipline by taking a course that led to my qualification as a Level 1 CSEN Country Dance Instructor, certified nationally by Aicowed.

I remain a student at heart, however, because one never stops learning; as an instructor, I will guide every student who wishes to get into Country & Western Dance step by step—eight counts at a time—striving to share not only the technique but also a bit of my passion.

Teacher Katya Fezza

My name is Katyuska, though everyone simply calls me Katya. I am 55 years old, born in Brescia, and a Level 1 CSEN Country Dance Instructor with national Aicowed certification. My passion for the country dance world began nearly eight years ago. At the time, I was practicing other disciplines—including Zumba—but deep down, I felt that something special was waiting for me out there; something magical and vibrant that could offer a fresh spark. Then, fate intervened: I came across a flyer for Black Roses classes offering a free lesson. Although I was a bit hesitant, I decided to take the plunge, and—wow! It was love at first note and first step. Something clicked inside me—a feeling I still struggle to put into words today. As I learned the choreography, I felt proud of myself, but above all, I experienced an incredible surge of energy rooted in sharing and a sense of family. Years later, I am still here, happy to be part of my wonderful BLACK family, to whom I owe so much. A huge thank you goes to all the Black Roses and, especially, to the founder, Alessia Bettini, who believed in me before I even believed in myself. See you on the dance floor!
